About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to complete an apprenticeship while supporting electrical maintenance and repair work across The Prince Charles Hospital. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople, develop practical skills, and contribute to safe, efficient and high-quality facility operations while completing formal training.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Ensure that safe work practices and safety procedures are adopted at all times and that protective clothing and equipment provided is worn and used as recommended.
Assist trades persons in all aspects of their work so as to maximise learning experiences.
Respond to work requests allocated by Trade Manager and Trade Coordinators and liaise with customers to understand maintenance requirements.
Work with trade staff in other sections to deliver multi-disciplinary works
