All major adult specialities are provided except for burns and obstetrics.
The motivated multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, occupational therapists and speech pathologists work together to deliver a high standard of holistic patient-centred care. University affiliation, active training programs and internationally recognised medical and nursing research contribute to advancement in intensive care practices and continuing staff development. The ICU endorses the Transition to Support Program- Adult Intensive Care which is a requirement for all new ICU employees without a post graduate qualification in Critical Care.
