We are seeking a skilled and passionate Landscape Carpenter to join our team, delivering high quality landscape and nature play projects for childcare centres.
This is a hands on role for an experienced carpenter who takes pride in producing exceptional workmanship and enjoys creating unique outdoor environments that inspire children's play and learning.
About the Role
As a Landscape Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing custom timber structures and bespoke nature play elements as part of our childcare playscape and landscape projects. Working from plans and drawings, you will help bring creative designs to life while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities

Construct custom timber structures, including forts, cubby houses, arbours, bridges, boardwalks, stepping paths, balance elements and other bespoke landscape features.
- Interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications accurately.
- Deliver high quality workmanship with strong attention to detail.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, company procedures and project specifications.
- Work collaboratively with the project team to deliver projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work space.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Strong carpentry skills and experience in timber construction.
- Preferably 10 years experience in carpentry.
- A high level of attention to detail and pride in your work.
- The ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
- A strong understanding of safe work practices.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
