Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a dedicated Pressure Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pressure welding techniques and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This is a full-time position based in Sydney, NSW, offering a competitive salary package and opportunities for career growth within our dynamic company.
Responsibilities:
· Perform pressure welding tasks according to project specifications and industry standards.
· Interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures to ensure accurate and precise welds.
· Operate welding equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
· Conduct inspections of welded joints to verify compliance with quality standards.
· Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations and procedures.
· Positioning components for assembly using manual tools and precision measuring devices.
· Uniting metal sections through diverse welding methods, as well as through the use of bolts and rivets.
· Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
· Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Proven experience as a Pressure Welder
· Strong knowledge of welding procedures, materials, and safety practices.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.
· Proficiency in operating welding equipment and machinery.
· Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
· Effective communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
