About the Role
We are seeking a high-energy Sales & Client Relationship Specialist who thrives on conversations, relationship building, and turning opportunities into confirmed business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the challenge of speaking with customers, understanding their vision for an event, and helping them create the right package.
You won't simply send quotes and wait for customers to respond. You will own the customer journey — from the first enquiry, through consultation and quoting, to follow-up and booking confirmation.
You'll work closely with the operations team to make sure what has been sold is clearly communicated and can be delivered smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Sales
- Manage inbound enquiries across phone, email, CRM, and other communication channels.
- Make proactive outbound calls to leads and prospective customers.
- Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand their event requirements.
- Ask discovery questions to identify customer priorities, preferences, budget, timing, and logistical considerations.
- Recommend appropriate products, services, packages, and upgrades.
- Prepare accurate and compelling quotes tailored to each enquiry.
- Present solutions confidently and address customer questions or objections.
- Follow up quotes and opportunities consistently.
- Maintain an active and accurate sales pipeline.
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings.
Relationship Management
- Build rapport with customers and create a positive experience throughout the sales process.
- Develop relationships that encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
- Maintain regular communication with customers when bookings involve multiple stages.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer value through relevant add-ons or package upgrades.
- Provide timely updates and manage customer expectations.
Sales Administration
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
- Update CRM activity, lead stages, notes, quotes, and booking information.
- Ensure all sales information is complete before handing bookings to operations.
- Prepare clear internal notes covering customer requirements and event details.
- Ensure customer requests and commitments are documented accurately.
- Monitor outstanding customer actions, deposits, approvals, and booking requirements.
Objection Handling & Problem Solving
- Handle customer concerns and objections professionally.
- Identify alternative solutions when requested products or dates are unavailable.
- Work with operations to determine feasible solutions before committing to customers.
- Manage last-minute changes while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with operations to ensure accurate and timely booking handovers.
- Communicate special requirements, site information, timing considerations, and customer expectations.
- Participate in process improvement discussions.
- Help identify recurring customer issues or sales bottlenecks.
What We're Looking For??

- Strong written communication skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and digital business tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple active opportunities simultaneously.
- Strong commercial awareness and customer-service mindset.
Desirable
- Experience in the events, hospitality, tourism, entertainment, party hire, venue, or service-based industries.
- Experience selling packages rather than individual products.
- Experience with event management or booking systems.
The Right Person Will Be
- Naturally confident and engaging.
- Comfortable talking to strangers and starting conversations.
- Persistent without being pushy.
- A strong listener who asks good questions
- Comfortable with targets and accountability.
