Nomadic Home & Garden is seeking a dedicated Gutter Cleaner and General Labourer to join our team in Adelaide, SA. This casual/temporary position requires a motivated, reliable individual with at least one year of relevant experience.
The role will initially have a strong focus on gutter cleaning, however as demand continues to grow, we can offer additional hours across our broader property maintenance, gardening and landscaping services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform gutter cleaning and associated maintenance tasks.
- Carry out general property maintenance duties as required.
- Assist with gardening and garden maintenance work.
- Assist with landscape labouring, including site preparation, material handling, clean-up and general support for landscaping projects.
- Assist with other general labour duties across a range of residential and commercial property maintenance jobs.
- Follow all site safety procedures and company requirements.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Use our job management and tracking software for all assigned work.
- Accurately start and stop job timers and record working times.
- Upload clear before and after photos for each job.
- Enter detailed job notes, including work completed, issues identified and any recommendations.
- Maintain accurate GPS and job location records through the company system.
- Ensure all required job information is completed before leaving site.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in gutter cleaning, property maintenance, gardening, landscaping, labouring or a similar hands-on role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual outdoor work.
- Comfortable working across different types of property maintenance and outdoor tasks.
- Comfortable using a smartphone and job management software throughout the working day.
- Able to follow company procedures for job tracking, documentation, photos, notes and time recording.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude when dealing with clients.
- Willingness to take on additional gardening, landscaping and property maintenance work as required.
This role has the potential to provide additional hours as our gutter cleaning and property maintenance workload continues to grow, making it well suited to someone who enjoys variety and is happy to work across multiple types of outdoor and maintenance work.
Pay: $27.68 – $41.23 per hour
