Dental Assistant – Specialist Endodontic and Periodontal Practice
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our specialist dental team, supporting both an Endodontist and Periodontist in a professional and patient-focused practice.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, caring, and confident working in a clinical environment. Previous dental assisting experience is preferred, especially in specialist dentistry, however training can be provided for the right candidate.
About the Role
You will assist with a range of specialist procedures, including endodontic treatment, periodontal therapy, surgical procedures, implant-related care, and patient management. You will work closely with clinicians to ensure appointments run smoothly and patients feel comfortable and well cared for.
Essential Criteria
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures
- Professional presentation and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask and follow clinical instructions
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, or implant procedures
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or currently studying
- Radiography experience or qualification
- Experience using dental software
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
