We're currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of fencing products and materials to our projects across the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA when required.
This is a hands-on role where you'll also assist with loading, unloading and general yard duties while ensuring our high safety and quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport fencing products to customer and project sites
- Load and unload trucks safely and securely
- Ensure loads are correctly restrained and comply with legal requirements
- Complete pre-start inspections and vehicle safety checks
- Maintain fatigue management and driving records
- Complete delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the truck
- Assist with general yard duties when deliveries are completed
- Comply with all road rules, company procedures and QHSE requirements
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Safety focused with a positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and willing to assist with loading and unloading
- Customer focused with good communication skills
- Organised and able to complete paperwork accurately
Essential Requirements
- Current HR (or higher) Driver's Licence
- Clean driving record
- Ability to safely secure and transport loads
- Understanding of fatigue management requirements
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
Desirable
- Current Forklift Licence
- Experience delivering construction or manufacturing products
- Experience operating trucks with crane or other loading equipment (if applicable)
