Job description:
Endacom Pty Limited was established in 2005 and has since grown into a leading contractor in the tunnelling and civil construction industry.We are seeking experienced Steel Fixers to join our team on Inland Rail projects in Sydney, carrying out reinforcement works while ensuring structural accuracy, safety compliance, and quality concrete outcomes in line with engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction drawings and reinforcement plans
- Cut, bend, position, and secure reinforcing steel
- Install reinforcement bars, steel mesh, and associated components
- Tie reinforcement using wire and appropriate fixing methods
- Set out reinforcement works in accordance with specifications
- Assist with preparation for concrete pours
- Work closely with formworkers, concreters, and other trades on site
- Ensure reinforcement placement meets engineering and project requirements
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Comply with WHS and site safety procedures
Industry Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant steel fixing experience within civil construction
- Proven ability to interpret reinforcement and construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of reinforcement installation and concrete construction
- Previous experience on major civil infrastructure, rail, tunnelling, or similar projects highly regarded
- High level of physical fitness and ability to work in demanding site environments

Pay: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour
