Location: Julia Creek, North West Queensland
Julia Creek Motel is seeking a reliable and hands-on Accommodation Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our motel. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of guest service, administration, housekeeping, cleaning, property presentation, and grounds maintenance.
As a small regional motel, this is a working supervisor role where you will actively assist with room cleaning, laundry, guest services, grounds maintenance, and maintaining a high standard of presentation across the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest check-ins and check-outs
- Manage reservations and booking systems
- Daily housekeeping, room servicing and cleaning
- Laundry and linen management
- Coordinate and supervise casual cleaning staff during busy periods
- Grounds maintenance, gardening, mowing and general outdoor upkeep
- Maintain motel presentation, gardens and common areas
- Stock control and ordering of supplies
- Basic maintenance and property upkeep
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service
About You
- Previous accommodation, hospitality or motel experience preferred
- Experience with RMS or similar booking systems highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Friendly, reliable and guest-focused
- Willing to be hands-on with cleaning, housekeeping and grounds maintenance duties
- Able to work independently and take ownership of daily operations
- Comfortable living and working in a regional community
