We’re on the lookout for a proactive Maintenance & Yardperson to join the team at the Mansfield Park Hotel - a vibrant local pub known for great hospitality and strong community spirit.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes initiative, and likes being active in a varied, hands‑on environment.
About the Role
- Approximately 4 hours per day, 5 days per week (flexible scheduling available)
- General maintenance of pub facilities, both indoor and outdoor
- Yard upkeep including sweeping, rubbish removal, garden care, and minor repairs
- Assisting with deliveries, basic handyman tasks, and overall venue presentation
- Identifying and reporting hazards to support a safe environment for staff and patrons
What We’re Looking For
- A self‑starter with a strong work ethic and good attention to detail
- Experience in maintenance, gardening, groundskeeping, or similar hands‑on roles
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Friendly, respectful attitude with good communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
