Your new role:
As the Senior Occupational Therapist within Logan MIRT, you'll provide advanced occupational therapy services to patients with complex rehabilitation needs while supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. You'll work collaboratively within an experienced multidisciplinary team, contribute to service development, and provide leadership through supervision and education.
Key responsibilities
Deliver advanced occupational therapy assessment, intervention and rehabilitation in a community-based multidisciplinary setting.
Provide clinical leadership, supervision and support to HP3 clinicians, Allied Health Assistants and students.
Lead and contribute to quality improvement, service development and evidence-based clinical practice initiatives.
Build strong partnerships with patients, carers and community services to achieve positive rehabilitation outcomes.
About you:
You're an experienced Occupational Therapist who enjoys working in a collaborative rehabilitation environment and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based care.
You will bring
Extensive experience delivering advanced occupational therapy services within rehabilitation or complex clinical settings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated leadership skills including supervision, mentoring and clinical education of junior staff and students.
A commitment to quality improvement, service innovation and delivering compassionate, patient-centred care.
