About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Logistics & Production Coordinator to join our growing retail brand.
This role is responsible for ensuring products move seamlessly from production through to our warehouse, stores, and customers. Working closely with suppliers, freight partners, warehouses, and internal teams, you will oversee production timelines, inventory movement, and logistics while helping maintain operational excellence across the business.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Coordination
- Coordinate production schedules with local and international suppliers.
- Monitor purchase orders from placement through to final delivery.
- Track critical paths and production milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
- Liaise with manufacturers regarding production updates, delays, and quality concerns.
- Assist with product launches by ensuring production timelines are achieved.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Logistics & Supply Chain
- Coordinate inbound international and domestic freight.
- Manage bookings with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport providers.
- Monitor shipping schedules and proactively communicate delays.
- Coordinate deliveries between suppliers, warehouses, and retail stores.
- Work closely with our third-party logistics (3PL) provider to ensure efficient stock movement and order fulfilment.
- Resolve freight, delivery, and inventory discrepancies.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and retail stores.
- Assist with stock forecasting and replenishment planning.
- Coordinate stock transfers between locations.
- Investigate inventory variances and support stocktake processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records across business systems.
Systems & Administration
- Maintain purchase orders and supplier information within ERP and inventory management systems.
- Prepare reports relating to production, inventory, freight, and supplier performance.
- Ensure product data and documentation remain accurate and up to date.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiencies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Buying, Marketing, Retail, Customer Service, and Finance teams.
- Support new product launches by ensuring inventory is available when required.
- Assist with seasonal planning and supply chain projects.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.
Quality Control
- Conduct quality control inspections on incoming apparel, ensuring all products meet company quality standards before being released for sale.
- Review garments for workmanship, fit, measurements, fabric quality, colour consistency, trims, labelling, and packaging.
- Identify and document product defects, inconsistencies, or compliance issues.
- Liaise directly with manufacturers to resolve quality concerns and coordinate corrective actions.
- Manage quality assurance processes throughout the production lifecycle, including reviewing pre-production samples, fit samples, and production samples.
- Maintain quality control records and provide regular reporting on supplier performance and product quality.
- Work closely with the Product and Design teams to ensure all products meet brand expectations and customer standards.
- Recommend improvements to manufacturing and quality assurance processes to minimise defects and returns.
