Casual Cook
The Peacemaker Saloon is on the hunt for a new Casual Cook to join our BOH team!
Peacemaker Saloon offers smoked BBQ and South-west American style cuisine. If you're passionate about BBQ, or want to learn more about BBQ then we'd love to hear from you!
You'll be working with our current full time Chefs, who will be running you through how we do things and the tips of the trade. This casual position offers 2-3 shifts per week working up to the option of a fulltime position for the right candidate in coming months.
1+ year of cook/kitchen experience required.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Head Chef in prep and running lunch and dinner services.
- Reliable closing and maintenance of the kitchen
- Contribute towards service prep
- Maintaining a clean kitchen work area
- Learning of procedures for and eventually contributing to the preperation of smoked meats
