Women’s Health Road (WHR) is a purpose-built women’s health practice providing comprehensive, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care. We are a multi-disciplinary team working alongside our GPs to deliver high-quality women’s health services in a collaborative and well-resourced environment.
WHR offers a broad range of services, including Menopause Care, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, Gynaecology, Sexual and Reproductive health including contraception, Mental Health support, chronic condition management, and preventive health programs. We are committed to improving women’s health outcomes across all life stages and ensuring culturally sensitive care for women from diverse backgrounds, including CALD communities.
In addition to in-clinic care, WHR actively engages in community outreach, education, and telehealth services. Our team also participates in research and quality improvement initiatives, contributing to innovation in women’s health.
About the Opportunity
We are inviting General Practitioners with an interest or specialisation in women’s health to join WHR as a tenanted clinician.
This arrangement suits independent GPs seeking to operate their own private practice within an established women’s health service. Clinicians will enjoy full autonomy over their billing and clinical management while benefiting from WHR’s facilities, administrative support, and shared clinical infrastructure.
As a tenanted clinician at WHR, you will:
- Have full flexibility to set your own consulting hours and days, allowing you to design a schedule that suits your professional and personal commitments.
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred women’s health care in a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive setting.
- Offer services in reproductive health, contraception, menopause, menstrual disorders, preventive health, and related areas.
- Conduct procedures such as cervical screening, Implanon insertion/removal, and other relevant women’s health procedures (ultrasound support available).
- Utilise WHR’s established administrative, clinical and practice management systems.
- Participate in a collaborative (multi-disciplinary) environment with opportunities for education, quality improvement, and research involvement.
- Join and contribute to current research projects such as the GP Endometriosis Management Plan and others.
About You
You are an experienced or emerging GP who values independence while working within a collegial and supportive clinical environment.
Essential:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM (or nearing completion)
- ABN and Medicare provider number (required for tenanted clinician arrangement)
- Interest in women’s health e.g. menopause, sexual health, or complex reproductive care
