Green Zebra Cafe is a local favorite in Albury. We are proud to keep the original founders' heritage and vision alive by serving an amazing breakfast and lunch. Now, we are taking a big step and expanding to offer a fully licensed, fine dining dinner service. we are looking for an experienced, passionate leader to guide our team through this transition and beyond.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to run the show. You will be in charge of everything on the floor, from managing the staff to making sure our new fine dining dinner service is a huge success. You will oversee all aspects of the restaurant, from front-of-house service and staff development to licensing compliance and financial performance.
What We Need From You
- Experience: You must have proven 3+ years of management experience in a fine dining restaurant.
- Licenses: A current NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate is required. You must also know how to run a fully licensed venue.
- Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of roster management, cost control, POS systems, and inventory management.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills for engaging with guests, resolving conflicts, and collaborating with the kitchen.
What You Will Do
- Manage the Team: Hire, train, and write rosters for the front-of-house staff. Be a leader they can rely on.
- Customer Service: Make sure every guest has a high-quality experience, and handle any customer feedback professionally.
- Daily Operations: Run the floor during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Work closely with the kitchen to make sure food comes out smoothly.
- Rules & Safety: Make sure the restaurant strictly follows all liquor licensing rules and food safety laws.
