Our team requires a new Logistics Operator, based in Sydney, to oversee and coordinate the daily Operational and warehousing activities relating to supporting our clients demands. These duties will encompass, but not be limited to:
Duties
WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS
- Managing the AWS Shipment plan to schedule resources and vendors for upcoming shipments.
- Liaise with the Origin office on upcoming shipments.
- Receive Pre Alert and check integrity of information/associated documents to ensure all information complies the SOP (one Pre alert = One Rack).
- Send Pre alert to DSV & seek acknowledgement of receipt 48 prior to arrival.
- Manage Cargo Manifest reporting requirements and prebook Airport Pick with Break Bulk Agent
- Check clearance status leading up to arrival, managing any exceptions that require held status
- Prepare Pre Delivery notification 24 hours prior to arrival and confirm timeslots
- Physically sight racks on arrival at bond, ensuring all Racks are compliant, noting any exceptions such as damage
- Booking & executing transport
- Physically be present on arrival at DSV warehouse to confirm clean receipt of racks on delivery
- Reconcile & upload all documentation into TMF & other supporting portals
- Maintain milestones to ensure KPI's are achieved
Skills and Attributes
POSITION SPECIFIC SKILLS
- Proficient (or ability to become proficient) with Crane Worldwide systems (PO Management, Kewill, C-View, etc)
- Prior experience in a Warehouse Operations (min 3 years)
