Key Responsibilities:
Offer professional advice on hair care, beauty products, and suitable hairstyles to meet
client needs.
Wash hair and condition scalps to prepare for treatments or styling.
Perform chemical treatments, including colouring, straightening, and permanent waving.
Use scissors, clippers, and razors to cut hair according to client specifications.
Create diverse hairstyles, such as braids, dreadlocks, and extensions.
Groom and shape beards and moustaches.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment
are sanitised.
Schedule client appointments and handle payments efficiently.
Style, cut, and colour wigs and hairpieces when required.
Qualifications and Skills:
AQF Certificate III with at least two years of practical on-the-job training, or an AQF
Certificate IV.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A keen eye for detail and creativity to deliver tailored client results.
Comprehensive knowledge of hair care products and their applications.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong organisational skills for managing appointments and maintaining a clean workspace.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $79,500.00 – $85,000.00 per year
