About the Opportunity
Working in a flexible, pro-active team environment across multiple sites as required (Henderson and HMAS Stirling), this role will assist with ensuring Planning commitments to Maintenance Activities continue to be consistently delivered on time and of a high standard.
The position provides leadership, coaching and mentoring to allocated team members to ensure corporate and departmental processes, routines and behavioural standards are met and executed in a safe, compliant and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate effective safety leadership to the Work Package Planning team.
- Demonstrate and lead updated corporate values through team to internal customers.
- Ensure allocated team deliver accurate and efficient planning products and services to ASC and wider CCSM enterprise customers (where applicable) in support of submarine certification and business End to End milestone requirements.
- Assist the Work Package Planning Manager develop a transformational change culture within the Work Package Planning team required to integrate the digital transformation opportunity into the wider Operations team.
- Actively participate and lead workplace change and culture initiatives associated with digital transformation.
- Support the development of key business reporting improvement initiatives.
- Provide a proactive and efficient support to allocated maintenance Projects with regard to generation and management of MAWP’s.
- Provision of feedback and improvement ideas to support the reduction of rework, simplification of processes and potential efficiency gains to reduce work load during surge periods.
About you
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated competence and experience with work order & MCR generation, coordination and work pack closeout processes within a project-planning environment.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated extensive corporate data base and ERP system knowledge and skills utilised to interrogate corporate tools and data bases in support of work package generation, execution and closeout.
- Strong communication and influencing skills - written, verbal and interpersonal and across multiple levels.
- High level problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Exposure to business process improvement and update methodologies.
- Ability to influence and lead change in a team environment across multiple locations.
- Ability to set priorities and achieve deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, alignment and accuracy of corporate data and information systems.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
