Salary Range: $116,981 – $129,492 plus superannuation
Employment Type: Ongoing / Full-time
Location: Goulburn - Hybrid opportunity. In-office requirement 2-3 days a week as a minimum, which could be subject to change based on applicable DCS workplace policies.

About the team
Government Shared Services (GSS) is a new division in DCS that is leading the way in streamlining processes and transactional shared services to allow our people to better focus on their customers and delivering their services.
We are developing and delivering a roadmap to leverage technology, streamline processes, replace legacy systems and deliver a consistent experience to more than 100+ agencies across 8 NSW Government Departments.
As the Workers Compensation Team Leader, you will lead and manage a team responsible for delivering accurate, timely and compliant workers compensation services. You will drive team performance, ensure legislative compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer and business outcomes.
What you will do

Lead, coach and develop a team delivering workers compensation claims administration

Allocate work and oversee claims processing, data management and enquiries

Monitor team performance using data and reporting to drive outcomes

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies

Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery

Build relationships with stakeholders and service providers

Provide expert advice on workers compensation matters
About You
You are an experienced leader with a passion for delivering high-quality service.

Strong leadership and people management skills

Experience in workers compensation and injury management

Knowledge of relevant legislation

Ability to analyse data and improve performance

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement

Commitment to customer service and improvement
