Little Hendrix Cafe is a small cafe in Belgrave.
We are a small family run business, that serves breakfast and lunch Thursday- Tuesday. Serving Jasper coffee, using La Marzocco, Mazzer Kony S grinder and Puq Press. Training can be provided for those who havent worked with specialty coffee but have existing barista skills.
We are looking for friendly, customer focused, experienced baristas/all rounders to join our team.
Casual hours available Saturday - Sunday. Award wages and penalty rates.
Ideally you will be:
- Friendly and approachable
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Have all rounder skills, as it is a small cafe, job will require floor work as well as coffee
- Be trustworthy and reliable
- Have a minimum of one year experience as a barista
- Basic latte art skills
- Be competent in dialling in, setting and adjusting grinder and machine settings, making all types of espresso based drinks.
- Be confident in learning menu items and discussing them with customers
- Weekend availability for both days is a must
