The Role
We’re looking for a collaborative and people-focused Quality & Environment Manager to join our Chelsea site and play a key role in strengthening our quality culture and driving continuous improvement.
This is an opportunity to lead meaningful change, influence across teams, and make a real impact on product quality, food safety, and environmental performance.
Our Chelsea Heights site is in Melbourne’s south-east, manufacturing a range of more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products. The site currently produces around 100 million litres of product every year!
Responsibilities
Lead and continuously improve the site’s Quality Management System to ensure best-practice food safety and compliance
Drive quality and environmental performance by monitoring KPIs and embedding continuous improvement initiatives
Liaise with cross-functional teams and suppliers to support strong quality outcomes across manufacturing
Support audit readiness by leading internal audits and maintaining compliance programs
Lead investigations into quality issues and work collaboratively to implement sustainable solutions
About you
Proven experience leading quality and environmental functions in regulated manufacturing (HACCP, GMP, GFSI)
Builds trusted relationships and influences senior stakeholders
Confident navigating audits, compliance, and investigations
Develops teams, lifts standards, and drives sustainable outcomes
Analytical and solutions-focused, with strong problem-solving capability
