As our Yard Tug Operator, you’ll be a key part of our trusted business supporting the flow of freight, connecting businesses with their customers, and helping keep our operations running safely and efficiently every day. You’ll be a staple of your team and your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!
You’ll be

Available to work night shift, Monday – Friday, 10:15pm – 6:06am, with flexibility to support with overtime.

Safely loading, unloading and moving trucks, freight, cages, and equipment within the yard.

Conducting basic equipment and yard checks to maintain a safe working environment.

Assisting with the organisation of freight, vehicles, and materials to support yard operations.

Working closely with drivers, team members, and supervisors to ensure smooth yard operations.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient yard environment.
About you
You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, and love autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player.
You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.
You’ll also need to

Hold a relevant heavy vehicle licence (HC at a minimum).

A valid forklift licence is advantageous but not required.

Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility.

Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.

Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less.

Be fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights.

Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
