Grocery & Liquor Co is a locally owned retail company with a store in Newtown & Bell Post Hill.
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team as an All Store Assistant.
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Store Assistant will be required to work across all areas of the business which will include (but not limited to) assisting with the receipt, presentation & rotation of stock, working behind the cash register and most importantly providing high quality customer service.
We are ideally looking for someone with solid availability to work a rotating roster across Monday to Friday 7am till 1pm.The position will require applicants to have daytime availability and is therefore not suitable for students currently attending high school, who are discouraged from applying.

- Be physically capable of undertaking substantial lifting and being on your feet for long periods of time
- Strong communication skills and the ability to confidently liaise with staff and customers
- Be a team player who is flexible and adaptable to change
- Positive attitude with lots of initiative
- Basic to intermediate computing skills
- Previous Retail &/or Supermarket experience will be deemed essential
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) is a mandatory requirement of this position
- Applicants will need to be willing and able to work across a variety of hours and days to support business requirements
Work Remotely
Pay: $25.66 – $30.00 per hour
