Position and Duties:
1. Employees are expected to perform the duties of a hairdresser, including but not limited to providing hair-cutting and grooming services to clients of Skin's Barber Shop. The Employee agrees to comply with all policies, rules, and regulations established by Skin's Barber Shop, as amended or introduced from time to time, in the best interests of the business. The right candidate is expected to start immediately.
2. Experience:
Preferably with 5 years or more of experience and salon management skills.
3. Remunerations
The Employee shall receive an annual fixed salary of $80,000, contingent upon the applicant's experience. Remuneration shall be disbursed weekly, specifically on Thursdays. Base salaries are subject to alteration in accordance with the Hair and Beauty Industry Award. Any overtime worked shall be compensated at the rate permitted by Australian labour legislation.
4. Work Hours:
The standard workweek will consist of 38 to 45 hours. The particular work schedule shall be established by the employer and may be subject to flexible arrangements.
On weekends and some public holidays, the salon is open.
6. Accommodation
Should you be relocating, furnished accommodation will be provided to you; however, you will be responsible for the payment of the rent.
7. Leave Entitlements: The hairdresser possesses the right to accrue annual leave and other leave entitlements in accordance with the standards set forth by Australian employment regulations.
8. Benefits
The Employee shall be entitled to paid time off and access to professional development opportunities, subject to the Company's policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
9. Superannuation
The company shall make a contribution on your behalf to the nominated superannuation fund industry.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
