Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse to provide leadership, coordination and advanced clinical expertise within the Nursing Workforce team.
Coordinate and support the Relief Nurse Pool and Casual Nurse Pool to meet staffing needs across the hospital.
Provide advanced clinical leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving in complex and emerging situations.
Lead and support activities including staffing, rostering, education, change management and workforce development.
Contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance, professional practice and a positive team culture.
About you:
You will be an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse with strong leadership capability and a passion for supporting and developing others.
Demonstrated advanced clinical, problem-solving, planning and workforce coordination skills.
Experience in complex rostering, staffing management and responding to emerging workforce requirements.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels.
A commitment to clinical leadership, education, quality improvement and delivering safe, high-quality care.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
