Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse within the Mental Health Emergency Department team, you will provide advanced clinical care to consumers presenting with acute mental health concerns, ensuring timely assessment, intervention, and recovery-focused treatment. Working autonomously and collaboratively with Emergency Department and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality mental health services and supporting positive consumer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments for consumers presenting in crisis.
Provide expert clinical leadership, care coordination, and evidence-based interventions within a fast-paced Emergency Department environment.
Support multidisciplinary teams through specialist advice regarding mental health care, risk management, and Mental Health Act 2016 legislation.
Contribute to quality improvement, education, research activities, and service development initiatives.
