About You
You are a company secretary/legal counsel with a minimum of 5 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
Your Experience & Expertise:
- Practical company secretarial experience
- Experience supporting the full range of day-to-day company secretarial activities
- Experience preparing, reviewing or co-ordinating Board, Committee and shareholder resolutions
- Ability to maintain governance documentation including registers, records, policies, charters, delegations and corporate governance materials
- Experience co-ordinating Board and Committee meetings including scheduling, agenda preparation, paper collation, Board pack preparation and meeting logistics
- Experience working with Directors, Executives, legal teams, governance teams and other internal stakeholders
Attributes:
- Willingness to take on the full gamut of company secretarial responsibilities, from drafting resolutions to administrative support
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple meetings, documents and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when preparing resolutions, Board papers, minutes and governance records
- Strong verbal communication skills and confidence liaising with Directors, Executives and internal stakeholders
- Flexibility and willingness to roll up their sleeves on administrative or logistical tasks
Requirements:
- A current Australian practising certificate is not essential
- Right to live and work in Australia
