Westslab Paving operates a well-established manufacturing business specialising in the production of paving, slabs and related concrete products. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager (Manufacturing) to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan, coordinate and oversee daily manufacturing operations.
· Develop and monitor production schedules to meet customer demand.
· Supervise production staff and allocate resources efficiently.
· Monitor production quality and implement quality assurance procedures.
· Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements.
· Manage inventory, raw materials and production costs.
· Prepare production reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
· Liaise with suppliers, maintenance personnel and management.
Essential Requirements
· Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience.
· Minimum three years' experience in manufacturing or production management.
· Strong leadership and people management skills.
· Knowledge of production planning, quality systems and WHS.
· Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
