Experienced Waitstaff – Wine Lovers Wanted!
Pistou is a small French Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar in the heart of Newtown, and we are looking for enthusiastic and experienced front of house staff to join our team as we reopen.
We are seeking warm, energetic hospitality professionals who love looking after people and understand the value of genuine, knowledgeable service.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to build rapport with guests and confidently drive sales through thoughtful recommendations.
About You:
- Previous restaurant experience essential
- Wine knowledge highly regarded
- Proven sales ability and confidence recommending food and beverages
- Comfortable upselling aperitifs, wine, cheese and desserts in a natural and engaging way
- Friendly, bubbly and professional personality
- Able to run a section independently and work efficiently in a small team
- Passionate about creating memorable dining experiences
- Current RSA essential
- Friday and Saturday availability highly desirable
- Immediate start available
