The Impact You'll Make
As a Front of House Team Member, you’ll be the friendly face and warm voice that makes every customer’s visit memorable. You’ll set the tone for their experience—whether it’s greeting them with a smile, recommending their new favourite salad, or ensuring their coffee is just the way they like it. Your role is more than service—it’s about creating moments of connection and making people feel valued.
What You'll Do
- Welcome customers with genuine warmth and assist them in choosing from our fresh, daily menu.
- Prepare and serve barista-made coffee to Soul Origin’s quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting front-of-house area, including counters, displays, and dining spaces.
- Operate the POS system efficiently, handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Assist with stock rotation, restocking displays, and monitoring product freshness.
- Support the team with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and basic food preparation.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow.
What You'll Bring
- A passion for great food, coffee, and customer service.
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or customer-facing roles (barista skills highly regarded, but training provided).
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings.
- A team-first attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
