Your Role and Impact:
As a Student Town Planner in our team, you will engage in a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to:
- In depth planning analysis and research
Assisting in the preparation of planning studies, strategic advice, development applications and planning proposals
Actively promoting the company and involvement in business development activities
Assisting senior planning staff and directors in project administrations and general duties
What You Bring:
Currently working towards completing a bachelor’s degree in Town Planning.
Analytical skills to determine planning issues and provide solutions
A developing understanding of the Planning Act 2016, the Development Assessment Rules, the application of planning schemes and related legislation
High level communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written)
Intermediate knowledge of relevant software programs
A genuine interest in helping deliver quality development outcomes.
Membership with the Planning Institute of Australia will be highly regarded
