Australian Meat Emporium is a family owned and operated business located in Alexandria, Sydney. We are the biggest meat cool room style retail butcher shop. Now the business has expanded, and we are operating a CAFE next door with a busy morning and lunch trade!!
You must have relevant culinary trade qualifications or at minimum 3 years work experience
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Food preparation
- Assist Head Chef
- Package and label our house made food range.
- Keep kitchen clean & tidy.
- Washing the cooking equipment and utensils
- Minimum of 5 year professional experience.
- An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- A positive attitude and confidence to engage with customers.
- Ability to work as a team & responsible to work on your own.
- Assisting barista and covering for breaks and days off.
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required - ideally 5 days per week.
The Cafe is open 7 days per week so working days & times will need to be flexible…
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
