About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide assistance to tradespeople within the Engineering Department and carry out a range of semi-skilled and unskilled duties in support of the maintenance function of the department.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Ensure work allotted is carried out promptly, efficiently and economically using the most appropriate materials and equipment for the particular application.
Ensure daily work sheets and time sheets are properly completed and submitted to maintain records required by the applicable administering authorities.
Liaise with Tradespeople and other Trades Assistants to co-ordinate work requirements.
Ensure safe working practices are adopted at all times and that protective clothing and equipment are used.
