to support the Restaurant Manager and Franchise Partner as part of the management team; contributing to the day-to-day running of the Restaurant and building a positive team environment. As a senior member of the team, the hands-on Shift Supervisor demonstrates through actions, a commitment in delivering “Up to SCRATCH” customer service experiences, high-quality food, and superior standard of compliance.

Shift Management Supervise shifts including performing opening and closing shifts and all daily routines in accordance with restaurant policy and procedures, checklists and trading hours.
Ensure suitable Team Members are in place to service the needs of the business – Support the senior management team to develop all team members to ensure all requirements of the business are met.
Training –Attend all required training as specified for the Shift Supervisor role as requested by the company.
Create a positive workplace culture – Foster a positive, engaging, and respectful culture amongst the team members. Acknowledge good performance and support reward and recognition programs in place.
-Maximise sales and profitability – Assist the senior management team with controlling all business costs inclusive of –rosters and wage spend, food and operational costs and expenses in accordance with agreed budgets. Manage shrinkage and wastage and cash control procedures must be always adhered to.
Policy and procedural Compliance Support the senior management team to ensure all company procedures and policies are always in place and that all Team Members conform with these policies.
Workplace Health and Safety Support the senior management team to ensure all Workplace Health and Safety policies and regulations are in place and are adhered to by all Team Members. Ensure all near misses, incidents and hazards are identified and documented in accordance with company guidelines. The company maintains a zero tolerance to breaches of WHS polices.
- Food Safety Support the senior management team to ensure that all food safety policies and procedures are in place and that all team members are adhering to these policies and procedures. The company maintains a zero tolerance to breaches of food safety. Restaurant Maintenance – Assist with maintenance issues and report faults to the senior management team.
- Team Leadership –Ensure you are at all times leading your team by example by practicing the following - Lead from the front (be visible on the floor as often as possible), demonstrate selling skills and excellence in customer service, treat all Team Members with respect, ensure you personally adhere to all company policies and procedures and create a culture of excellence through demonstrating continuous and consistent follow up.
- Local Marketing , Assist with Delivery and Catering sales in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
Pay: $73,150.00 – $79,499.00 per year
