Rian Fabrication Pty Ltd is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Fabrication Labourer to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated, hands-on, and eager to develop their skills within the metal fabrication industry.
About the Role
The successful candidate will assist with general fabrication and workshop duties, supporting the production team with steel and aluminium fabrication projects while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Assisting fabricators and welders with daily workshop tasks
· Loading and unloading materials
· Grinding, sanding, and preparing materials
· Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the workshop
· Operating basic hand and power tools
· Assisting with deliveries and general labour duties
· Following workplace health and safety procedures
Skills & Requirements
· Strong work ethic and positive attitude
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Reliable and punctual
· Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
· Ability to perform heavy lifting of 25kg or more as required for manual handling tasks
· Willingness to learn and follow instructions
· Valid driver's licence preferred
· Non-smoker
· Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing
· Ability to successfully pass a police check
· Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position
· Minimum 2 years' experience in fabrication or metalwork required
