China Doll is an award winning modern Asian restaurant on the waterfront location at Woolloomooloo finger wharf. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chef de Partie who will lead the pastry section and join our friendly and professional team.
· Full-time position
· Up to $79,500 per year + superannuation
· Located in Woolloomooloo finger wharf, Sydney CBD
Requirements:
· A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience: pastry section CDP experience is essential, and experience in other sections in an Asian cuisine commercial kitchen will be an advantage
· Patisserie/culinary trade qualification
· Demonstrated relevant culinary skills, techniques and practices
· In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations and dietary requirements
· Flair for innovation in menu creation
· Working knowledge and practical skills in menu development
· Strong leadership and management skills in kitchen staff and practices
· Ability to manage labour, food and operational expenses
· Capable of performing effectively under pressure in dynamic, fast-paced settings
