We're always recruiting reliable production talent for our regional manufacturer and exporter clients. At this time we are seeking production workers across three functions at an established hide and skin processing facility in regional New South Wales.

The opportunity Multiple full-time, ongoing production roles at an established Australian hide and skin processor and exporter in regional NSW. The business has operated from the same site since 1980 and processes bovine hides and skins for domestic and international markets. We are recruiting across three production functions on the production floor.
What you'll do
- Hide and Skin Processing Worker — inspect, sort, trim, salt, dry, stack, bale and pack raw and processed hides and skins; maintain a clean work area and follow chemical handling and safety procedures
- Chemical Plant Worker (Drum Operator) — load and operate chemical processing drums and associated plant, weigh and dose chemical inputs in accordance with processing recipes, monitor processing conditions and safety parameters; shift-based including rotating shifts
- Hide and Skin Processing Machine Operator — prepare and operate fleshing, shaving and processing machines, monitor operation to detect faults, examine processed product for defects and adjust settings to maintain quality
About you
- At least 12 months of recent and relevant experience in production, processing, manufacturing, agriculture, meat processing, warehousing or similar hands-on industrial work
- Physical capability for manual labour across a full shift in a regulated industrial processing environment
- Functional English sufficient to follow safety and operational instructions
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a production team
- Comfort working with or around chemicals and processing equipment, in accordance with site safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one (training provided)
- Right to work in Australia
What's on offer
- Full-time, ongoing employment with a stable, long-established regional employer
- Annual earnings typically $70,000 – $80,000, comprising base salary plus regular overtime; superannuation paid in addition
- Monday to Friday with optional Saturday overtime; shifts of 8 to 10 hours, varying by department (Drum Operator role includes rotating shifts)
- All PPE provided; structured on-the-job training
- Pre-employment functional assessment and drug and alcohol testing apply

Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
