Techie International College is looking for experienced and qualified Trainer & Assessors to join our trade training team.
We are currently seeking trainers in the following areas:
- Certificate III in Solid Plastering
- Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
- Certificate III in Roof Plumbing
- Certificate III in Stonemasonry

About the Role
As a Trainer & Assessor, you will deliver practical and theory-based training, assess student competency, support student progression and help students develop strong, job-ready trade skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging practical and classroom training.
- Conduct competency-based assessments.
- Demonstrate trade techniques, tools and equipment.
- Support and monitor student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain accurate training and assessment records.
- Follow WHS and workplace safety requirements.
- Participate in validation and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain current industry knowledge and vocational competency.
What We Are Looking For
You will ideally have:
- A relevant trade qualification in Solid Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling, Roof Plumbing and/or Stonemasonry.
- Current and relevant industry experience.
- A recognised Trainer and Assessor qualification (TAE) that meets current RTO requirements.
- Strong practical and technical trade skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and support students from diverse backgrounds.
- A strong commitment to quality training and compliance.
Highly Regarded
- Previous Trainer & Assessor experience within an RTO.
- Experience delivering construction or trade qualifications.
- Experience working with international students.
- Knowledge of competency-based training and assessment.
- Relevant industry licences, registrations or tickets.
