We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated All-Rounder to join our growing team in Sydney. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training in various aspects of retail butchery and meat preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation, packaging and display of meat products.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the workplace.
- Receiving, storing and rotating stock.
- Assisting customers with enquiries and providing excellent customer service.
- Supporting daily operations including cleaning, labelling and merchandising.
- Learning basic meat cutting, trimming and preparation techniques under supervision.
- Operating equipment safely and complying with workplace health and safety procedures.
- Working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, food processing or customer service is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to learn and undertake training in retail butchery.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain high hygiene standards.
- Reliable, punctual and physically fit.
