Role Description
NDT Technician required to support short-term aircraft inspection work in a Defence-regulated aviation maintenance environment.
The majority of work will include dye penetrant and eddy current inspections of defects, with occasional tap testing. This is a contract opportunity based in Amberley, supporting C-27J aircraft maintenance activity.
The role is expected to run for approximately 1 month, with a 4-day work week and day shift roster.

Essential Requirements
Required Role Experience: NDT inspection experience, including dye penetrant and eddy current inspections. Aviation or Defence aircraft experience highly regarded.
Maintenance Qualification / Licence: Relevant NDT qualifications/certifications required. C-27J experience highly desirable.
Work Rights: Australian Citizen or eligible to work in a Defence aviation environment.
Security Clearance: Current NV1 or Baseline clearance highly regarded. Ability to meet site access and onboarding requirements essential.
Skills: Dye penetrant inspections, eddy current inspections, tap testing, defect inspection, strong documentation and compliance discipline.
Attitude: Safety-first, reliable, detail-focused, proactive, able to follow process and work within a regulated maintenance environment.
