Qualified Bakers / Experienced Bakers
We are looking for hard working and enthusiastic Qualified or experienced baker to join our team at Bakers Delight Southland.
Applicant should have good communication skills, and eye for quality and should thrive in a team environment. Tasks include weighing ingredients, mixing and processing doughs, baking products in deck oven, monitoring quality, merchandising shop front and giving delightful customer service. Successful applicant will have trade qualifications.
Previous Bakers Delight experience preferred.
This role involves early starts (from 2am) and you will operate on a rotating roster which will include weekend work.
To be considered for this role, you will need to:
- Baking and presenting quality products which meet customer needs
- Follow WH&S regulations to operate a safe working environment
- Cleaning of workstation and /or environment at the end each day
- Operation of blending equipment and other machines as required
- Weighing ingredients
- Quality checking of product requirements
- Hand packing and distribution
- General kitchen cleaning
- Manual batching and mixing
