Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers is looking for a Instrument Engineer, a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our E&I team at Karratha for Perdaman’s Ammonia & Urea project. Perdaman, a leading player in the fertiliser industry with its corporate office in Western Australia, is looking for a candidate to fulfill the responsibilities and experience as mentioned below.
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field and can qualify for professional engineer to be a member of Engineers Australia
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years in chemical, petrochemical, or fertiliser plant.
Proven expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting of assets in responsible areas
Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of process Control & On-Off Valves, field instruments, field analysers, F&G devices, inline flowmeters and installation and maintenance of machine monitoring (vibration) probes.
Abilities to read P&IDs, Loop drawings, Cause and effect diagrams, logic diagrams, datasheets etc.
Hands on experience in working, troubleshooting, calibration and testing of positioners and valves.
Basic experience with control systems (DCS, SCADA) and process control loops.
Knowledge of communication protocols such as HART, Modbus, OPC, and Profibus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in their area of responsibility.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration across functions.
Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
The candidate should be willing to learn new skills related to area of responsibility.
