As Assistant Centre Manager, you will work closely with the Centre Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the service while fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
You will:
- Support the Centre Manager in leading and mentoring a team of educators
- Build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local community
- Assist with driving quality outcomes and ensuring compliance with National Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to centre occupancy growth through exceptional family experiences and community engagement
- Champion a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Help create an environment where educators feel supported, recognised, and empowered to succeed
You are a passionate people leader who thrives on supporting others and creating positive outcomes for children and families.
You will have:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Previous leadership experience within an early childhood setting, such as Assistant Centre Manager, Educational Leader, Lead Educator, or similar
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards
- A current Working with Children Check
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to mentoring teams and fostering a positive centre culture
