A HR Administrator is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all aspects of a Human Resources (HR) programs within Buttrose Earthmovers, Karta Indigenous Services, Augusta Quarries and Buttrose Landscape and Garden Supplies. The position requires attention to detail, good communication and organizational skills. Key responsibilities include:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Advertising roles, screening resumes
- Conducting interviews and reference checks
- Issuing employment contracts and onboarding new hires
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Supporting Supervisors with performance management
- Managing grievances, conflict resolution
- Facilitating employee surveys and feedback
- Injury Management
3. Training & Development
- Identifying skills gaps and planning training needs
- Coordinating inductions and ongoing development
- Maintaining training records and competency matrices
4. HR Compliance & Records
- Ensuring Fair Work compliance
- Maintaining employee files, contracts, and leave records
- Preparing HR reports and metrics
5. Policies & Systems
- Drafting and updating HR policies and procedures
- Supporting system upgrades or HRIS management
- Advising on HR best practice and legislative updates
