Silk Hospitality is seeking an experienced and highly capable Executive Housekeeper to lead housekeeping operations within a luxury hotel environment on the Gold Coast.
This is a leadership role responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience in an environment where consistently high expectations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder priorities are essential.
As Executive Housekeeper, you will lead the housekeeping function onsite, ensuring exceptional standards are consistently delivered across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces within a high-expectation, fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing housekeeping team
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
- Manage departmental budgets, supply inventory, and cost control
- Uphold strict health, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experience delivery
- Respond to guest feedback and operational requirements professionally and promptly
- Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures
- Monitor and report on housekeeping performance, occupancy needs, and staffing levels
- Support onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing staff
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction aligned with luxury service expectations at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Extensive experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager, or senior housekeeping leader in a luxury hotel or high-end resort environment
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence, align, and manage stakeholder relationships effectively
- Exceptional resilience, professionalism, and composure under pressure
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining service consistency and team performance
- In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, procedures, and luxury service standards
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to presentation excellence
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong prioritisation and decision-making ability
