About the role
We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Team Leader to join our Sanitisation team and help maintain our food manufacturing facility to the highest standards. This role on offer is Monday to Thursday starting from 11am - 8pm and Friday 8am - 4pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a sanitation team to ensure all daily / weekly tasks are completed
- Thoroughly clean and sanitise production equipment, machinery, and surfaces to meet food safety standards.
- Disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Remove rubbish and recycling from designated areas.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with additional tasks assigned by the Production Supervisor or Manager.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous expereince leading a team, ensuring KPI's and targets are met.
- Previous cleaning experience in a food manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safe chemical handling.
- Familiarity with WHS and HACCP principles.
- Experience operating cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and pressure washers.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects as required.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
