Public Area Cleaner
Pacific Bay Resort is currently looking for a motivated and friendly Public Area Cleaner to assist the team in the cleaning and maintenance of all public areas.
You will be responsible for ensuring the appearance of the property and its grounds are of the highest standards, carrying out various cleaning duties in all internal and external public areas of the property, achieving established standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitisation and presentation.
In this hands-on role you will pride yourself to deliver excellence to our clients through exceptional high-quality cleaning of the public areas in and around our Accommodation towers, pool, spa and gym areas, toilets, walkways and carparks. This will include, but not be limited to, mopping, sweeping, de-cobwebbing, hosing, collecting and emptying bins, clearing pathways, cleaning and straightening furniture.
Hours are 9 day fortnight with rotating roster which includes some weekend work.
What we are looking for:
· Previous experience as a cleaner/room attendant/public areas attendant in a hotel or resort (ideal but not mandatory)
· Customer-focused attitude with a positive outlook
· A fast learner who is comfortable working unsupervised but also happily works within a team
· Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise multiple tasks with a commitment to follow through to successful completion
· Someone who is physically fit
· Reliability & availability to work during the week, weekends and public holidays (this position operates on a rotational roster and includes weekend work)
· Clear communicator – ability to speak, understand, read & write in English
· Hold a current drivers licence
