Engaging and influential role with exposure to multiple types of operations
The role
Due to continued growth, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Business Partner to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to provide proactive People & Culture support to leaders and employees, while assisting with the delivery of Adbri and CRH People & Culture initiatives. You will partner with leaders across a range of people matters, including employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, change management, learning and development, and Industrial Relations activities.
Responsibilities

Coach and partner with leaders to enhance people performance, engagement, and accountability, ensuring effective use of P&C frameworks, systems, and processes.

Support Industrial Relations activities, including EA interpretation, union engagement, case management, and contributing to successful EA negotiations.

Drive performance, capability, and career development, supporting leaders with MyCareer behaviours, goal setting, reviews, and development planning.

Lead engagement and recognition initiatives to strengthen culture, connection, and employee experience, including survey action planning.

Provide expert advice on complex people matters, including investigations, performance management, change management, and P&C policy application.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) - implementation of people integration activities.
What you will need to succeed
-
Degree in HR or equivalent.
-
Experience within complex industrial organisations.
-
Proven experience as a Senior P&C Business Partner supporting leaders across the full employee life cycle.

Strong IR capability, including EA interpretation, negotiations, union liaison and case management.

Experience in change management, organisational design, and project delivery
-
Exceptional relationship building and influencing skills, with the ability to coach, guide, and challenge leaders constructively.

A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of developing and implementing people management improvement initiatives.

Strong analytical capability to interpret data, diagnose challenges and support informed decision making.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence preparing reports, business cases and presentations.
