About the role:
The Manager, Nursing and Midwifery Workforce, will lead a team providing advice on key issues affecting nursing and midwifery professions within the sector. They will contribute to building the capacity of nursing and midwifery professionals and the broader workforce to respond to systems-level challenges.
This role will have the opportunity to promote and facilitate development and optimal utilisation of the nursing and midwifery workforces to deliver high quality, contemporary services and innovations that best respond to community need.

About you:

Demonstrating relevant experience and expertise in information gathering, thoughtful analysis, robust project management and monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.

Strong understanding of government processes and an ability to oversee work in a sensitive and fast-paced environment.

Diligent, with high levels of adaptability, and who is able to build positive relationships with stakeholders.

Agile and able to adapt to changing environments quickly.

Demonstrate sound leadership and people management skills, as well as an ability to influence others to maximise efficiency and effectiveness of the nursing and midwifery workforces and improve outcomes for Victorians.

A tertiary qualification in a relevant field would be advantageous.

Proven expertise in developing and maintaining workforce plans in complex businesses.
